Faith No More

When: Tue., Sept. 8 2015

Faith No More care a lot, as evidenced by the fact that they released the song "We Care a Lot" three times — four, actually, if you count original frontman Chuck Mosely's shouty solo version. But it was only after the dreadlocked singer was replaced by the quirkier Mike Patton that the band gained commercial traction, culminating in the Top 10 earworm "Epic." The recently released album Sol Invictus picks up where Faith No More left off nearly a decade ago, charting at No. 15 and resuscitating their profile to the point where they can headline Red Rocks Amphitheatre (18300 W. Alameda Parkway, Morrison, with Gogol Bordello opening. Showtime is 8, tickets are $46.75 and up. — Bill Forman
