What law should the Colorado legislature pass, but never will? They're putting way too much emphasis on CSAPs. Accountability is great, but it's wrong to attach funding for schooling to how children score on this test.
Who represents you in Denver? I couldn't tell you.
If you could pick anyone to be your state representative, who would it be? Could I get Madeleine Albright? I know little about her, but she seems able to work with people and understand and respect different sides of issues.
Gov. Owens recently declared that "Colorado is back." Where were we? A state on fire? Who knows what he means!
What law should the state legislature pass, but never will? Regulate smoking in places that perform music.
Who is your state representative? Geez, I can't say.
Who do you wish it could be? It would be wonderful to have former Mayor Mary Lou Makepeace as my representative.
The governor declared that "Colorado is back." Where were we? I've been here the whole time. Where was he?

What law should the Colorado legislature pass, but it'll never happen? Extend protection from discrimination to homosexuals.
Who is your state representative? I don't know.
If you could pick your representative, who would it be? I'm not that up on politics, but of all the politicians I know, it would be Richard Skorman. He'd bring a badly needed liberal point of view to Denver.
Gov. Owens says, "Colorado is back." Where were we? I've worked in tourism, and the tourism slump was really bad. We've bounced back fairly well in that regard.
What law should be passed, but never will? Colorado should officially boycott or condemn the Homeland Security Act where the government gave itself the right to enter people's homes secretly.
Who is your state representative? I couldn't say.
If you could pick anyone to represent you in Denver, who would it be? My brother. Unlike me, he's extremely informed about all sides of just about any issue, and his views are pretty similar to those of Dennis Kucinich. You notice that they pretty much ignore him in news reportage, even though a lot of the public probably shares his views.
The governor claims that "Colorado is back." Where is "back"? Like most politicians, when he says "we," he's talking about Denver, not the rest of Colorado.
