as part of the Pikes Peak Regional History Lecture Series, a talk from John Anderson, El Paso County Sheriff (ret.) on these culturally modified trees that the Utes used for "navigational, medicinal, nutritional, educational, burial or spiritual purposes, hundreds of years ago." Reservations required.
