Colorado Springs Science Festival

When: Oct. 11-19 2014

In the immortal words of Bill Nye the Science Guy, science rules. We're right in the middle of the annual Colorado Springs Science Festival, and there are entertainment options for all ages — mostly free. Today through Sunday, check out events all around town for kids, teenagers and adults. In particular, check out Friday's production of Icarus at the Edge of Time at the Pikes Peak Center (190 S. Cascade Ave., pikespeakcenter.com). The show puts Greek myth at the edge of a black hole. Tickets are $12, and the show starts at 7 p.m. For a full schedule, go to cssciencefestival.org. — Griffin Swartzell
