Friends of Cheyenne Mtn. State Park: Open Board Meeting, at Police Operations Center, community room, 705 S. Nevada Ave. Friends of Cheyenne Mountain State Park is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting Colorado Springs' new State Park. Thurs., Jan. 16, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The Pikes Peak "N"Gineers Model Railroad Club will host an open house at the Meadowlake Airport in Falcon, 7959 Cessna Dr., Hangar M. The Pikes Peak "N"Gineers is an N-scale model railroad club that uses the NTRAK modular standard for the model railroad layout and promotes the hobby in all scales and layout types.
