Tempe, Arizona-based Cheba Hut Toasted Subs will open its first Springs location at 3171 N. Chestnut St. at the end of February. The weed-themed chain has been in business since 1998, and this location will be one of their largest, both in terms of overall square footage — 2,600, according to COO Marc Torres — and the size of its bar. It’s part of a new development near Fillmore Street and I-25 that currently includes a Kum & Go and Fuzzy’s Tacos, sure to make traffic near the exit almost as nightmarish as it was before people figured out how to drive through that diverging diamond interchange.
