Tempe, Arizona-based Cheba Hut Toasted Subs
will open its first Springs location at 3171 N. Chestnut St. at the end of February. The weed-themed chain has been in business since 1998, and this location will be one of their largest, both in terms of overall square footage — 2,600, according to COO Marc Torres — and the size of its bar. It’s part of a new development near Fillmore Street and I-25 that currently includes a Kum & Go and Fuzzy’s Tacos, sure to make traffic near the exit almost as nightmarish as it was before people figured out how to drive through that diverging diamond interchange.
Springs vegan fine dining spot Moxie
will close at the end of February, to rebrand as a second location for owners Nissa and Mike Buth’s other local restaurant, Ola Juice Bar
