Celebration Metaphysical Fair

When: 2009

Considering that the Celebration Metaphysical Fair has now been running longer than the average lifespan of a unicorn (roundabout 30 years), it's fair to say that locals have established favorite annual exhibitors and vendors. Take for instance Sandy Duveau, who brings her $10,000 bio-feedback camera from Sacramento, Calif.; it takes pictures of your aura. (Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts ...) "I am a little, old round lady," she wrote to me last month, "and while others my age are retiring, I get to roam the world having fun with my toy ..." Well, don't kill Sandy's good times by failing to drop by the City Auditorium (221 E. Kiowa St., celebrationfair.com) sometime between 1 and 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Daily admission is $5. — Matthew Schniper
