Carrie Underwood

When: Fri., June 4 2010

I've been following Carrie Underwood since her first audition on American Idol back in 2005, when she sang Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" and wowed the judges — even cranky Simon Cowell. The Checotah, Okla., native has come a long way since then, having won Idol's Season Four, delivered 9 No. 1 country singles, and racked up five CMAs, eight ACMs and four Grammys. At 7:30 tonight, get your Wrangler'ed rear to the World Arena (3185 Venetucci Blvd., worldarena.com) to hear Ms. Underwood belt out songs like "Before He Cheats," "All-American-Girl" and "Cowboy Casanova." Tickets run between $35 and $55. — Kirsten Akens
