Wranglers back in the saddle

Flying W Wranglers
After being displaced during last year’s Waldo Canyon fire, Colorado Springs’ much-loved Flying W Wranglers have rustled themselves up a new summer home.

Various generations of the talented group had been preserving the old west’s singing-cowboy tradition for some 60 years, until the Flying W Ranch was leveled during the 2012 wildfire.

Now the Wranglers are back, hosting a “Trail Dust BBQ and Show” each Tuesday and Wednesday (including this evening) throughout the summer at Texas T-Bone Steakhouse’s Centennial Boulevard location.

You can read more about the Wranglers revival — plus the return of an Angry Samoan, the Nashville for Black Forest benefit, a local Beastie Boys vs. Pantera tribute show, and reviews of Beard and Blues Under the Bridge — in this week’s Reverb.
