Blame Sally

When: Thu., May 3, 7 p.m. 2012

"In 1999, in a little-known but epic logistical meltdown, the Lilith Fair and OzzFest are accidentally booked into the same Indiana venue on the same hot August night." So begins Theory 3 of how Blame Sally came to be, at least as described on the San Francisco band's website. Tonight, you can enjoy a pairing that's almost equally refreshing: Blame Sally playing a benefit for AspenPointe's Creative Expressions art therapy program. It happens at 7 at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center (10 S. Parkside Drive,, $15), and if all goes well, you may be able to close your eyes and imagine "the Indigo Girls and Missy Elliot[t] jamming with Pantera." — Kirk Woundy

Price: $15
