Bike the Night

When: Sat., July 30, 8-10 p.m. 2016

Looking for ways to squeeze the life out of every last minute of warm riding weather before fall comes along and adds its frosty chill? Get your cycle on with a whole lot of stars and altitude at Bike the Night, a 9-mile community ride hosted by Mountain Top Cycling Club. You'll enjoy a gentle ride through the dusky streets of Woodland Park and finish with a party post-ride. There are prizes for best costume and a nifty shirt to show off your accomplishment, plus, the length of the ride makes it a pretty great time for riders of all ages and abilities. Proceeds benefit Teller county youth cycling programs, so you're helping kids while having fun — isn't philanthropy awesome? 8-10 p.m., 210 E. Midland Ave., Woodland Park, $25 adults/$10 kids, register at bit.ly/2a60t13. — Bridgett Harris
