What's the coolest thing you've heard of someone making with a 3D printer? A 3D model of a fetus that was done in Japan. I've also heard about someone making a gun, and that's scary, because an all-plastic gun can get through airport security.

What's the last time you built or created something with your hands? I don't really make anything with my hands, but I have a good imagination. I work through other people.

What's the best technological advancement, in your opinion, of the last 10 years? This might seem minor, but "Scrivener" is awesome. It's a great program, designed by writers for writers.

What's the worst technological advancement in the same period? Texting. I hate it. It provides the illusion of a relationship at the expense of really connecting.

What's the last time you built or created something with your hands? It's been a while. A couple of years ago I added some color to some art, and around six years ago I created a child.

What's the best technological advancement, in your opinion, of the last 10 years? Being able to communicate with my cousins in Sweden. Technology is great for that, and a lot cheaper than a plane ticket.

What's the worst technological advancement in the same period? The control the government has over us and over our freedom, by having all of our personal information.

What's one problem you wish technology would solve? I wish it could take away the power of money.

What's the coolest thing you've heard of someone making with a 3D printer? A car, and it ran. But I'm not sure if they printed the motor or not.

What's the best technological advancement, in your opinion, of the last 10 years? The 3D printing of human organs out of specially designed DNA biomatter.

What's the worst technological advancement in the same period? A "smart egg tray" that will tell you how many eggs you have and how old they are, and you get a notification on your phone.

What's one problem you wish technology would solve? Death and dying, and I think it's possible. I've heard that by 2055 we'll be able to reverse aging.
