An Evening with Jon Krakauer

When: Wed., April 20, 7 p.m. 2016

Even if you didn't read Into the Wild, we're assuming you saw the film. Ditto with Into Thin Air's 2015 screen adaptation, Everest. Author Jon Krakauer's best known for those two works, but he's also penned excellent non-fiction books like Under the Banner of Heaven and Where Men Win Glory. His most recent narrative, Missoula, examines the national problem of sexual assaults on campus. Tonight in CC's Armstrong Hall, the visiting journalist will be interviewed by his friend and former Outside magazine editor Mark Bryant, revealing insights into his craft. There's no movie for this, so catch it live. 7 to 9 p.m., 14 E. Cache La Poudre St., free, — Matthew Schniper
