An Evening of John Williams

When: May 10-11, 8 p.m. 2013

John Williams is such a god that he's already written the soundtrack to the movie about your life. Every time a film student is born, John Williams gets right of first refusal to her work. Francis Scott Key only wrote "The Star-Spangled Banner" because John Williams was too busy counting his royalties. You can play this game at home, too, or you could go see the Colorado Springs Philharmonic's performance of An Evening With John Williams, at 8 tonight and tomorrow, at the Pikes Peak Center (190 S. Cascade Ave., Conductor Josep Caballé-Domenech will be waving his wand for all the hits, and you might even see an Imperial Stormtrooper or two. Tickets start at $30 for Friday. — Bryce Crawford

Price: $19-59
