All in the Timing

When: May 9-11 2013

A recent New York Times theater review called playwright David Ives' All in the Timing "one of the zestier plates of theatrical tapas to be had." The small-plate food reference speaks to the fact that the comedic show originally consisted of six one-act plays, and was later updated to 14. At 7:30 tonight, as well as Friday and Saturday nights, Colorado College will stage five of the acts in the Cornerstone Arts Center (825 N. Cascade Ave., for $5. One of those five being the popular "Words, Words, Words," in which monkeys named Milton, Swift and Kafka labor away at typewriters as if bound to pen Hamlet, in accordance with the infinite monkey theorem. Expectedly, hijinks ensue. — Matthew Schniper
