Beyond the fairly standard selection of sports bar fare at All American Sports Café Bar & Grill, owner Laura Debenham stakes her reputation on her house-made green chile. We get it on the chile burger ($10.99), which comes a touch past requested medium, buried under enough chile for burger and fast food-style shoestring fries alike, strictly a fork-and-knife burger. The chile itself is plenty meaty at a nice medium spice level. It’s a little heavy on tomatoes for my taste, but my dining companion doesn’t mind.

We also order the Fire House Philly cheesesteak ($8.99/half portion), which sees traditional bell peppers and onions punched up by jalapeños and green chilies, plus pepperjack cheese. The flavors do fine, but the meat’s overcooked to chewiness. Still, the game’s on and the beer comes cold in Broncos-colored glasses. If that’s your thing, this is your place.
