Adler's Appetite, Anchored

When: Thu., Aug. 19, 8 p.m. 2010

Don't know how many Guns N' Roses fans read books, but if you're one of them, you can get former drummer Steven Adler to sign your copy of his redemptive rawk-tome, My Appetite for Destruction, at Barnes & Noble (1565 Briargate Blvd., bn.com) between 6 and 7 tonight. For the rest of us, Adler's Appetite will be playing for those 21-plus at 8 at Union Station (2419 N. Union Blvd., myspace.com/unionstation). But the $9.43 show's secret weapon is opener Anchored, a Southern rock band whose awfully catchy "Dirty in Texas" single is gaining traction on hard rock radio. — Bill Forman
