- "Weather, Anyone?" by Francis Hammet was shot Labor Day weekend back in 1994 from the 700 block of West Colorado Avenue. The photo was selected and printed in the Memories of Yesteryears 2000 anthology by the International Library of Photography. Hammet, now a sociology and criminology student at UCCS, used a Pentax IQZoom 700.
The Independent seeks compelling images for InSight, our new weekly photographic feature. Entries may be submitted electronically or by mail, and need to be at least 5" x 7".
