Our publishing house is looking for a full time graphic designer to start fall 2017. This will be a split position between the Colorado Springs Business Journal and Colorado Springs Independent. Position includes editorial page layout for one or more of the military papers and a legal publication, as well as creative advertising design and processing camera ready and pick up ads.
The ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude, desire to learn and be part of a small, hard-working team, knows the Adobe suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop), and can split their time and talent between editorial and advertising.

You must be a rockin' sales person. Like 2+ years experience selling print, broadcast and/or online advertising or the equivalent badass in a customer service position. As always, you must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, be self-motivated and have boss communication skills.
Your job, should you choose to accept it (and us you) is to service and grow existing customers as well as finding and singing new advertisers. New business development is a KEY FUNCTION of this position. You should also have a vehicle that will get you where you need to go.
