  1. Etkin Johnson Real Estate Partners, a privately owned commercial real estate investment and development company, issued a release Feb. 14 saying it sold 57.8 acres to Centura Health for $30 million for a third hospital campus for Centura's Penrose-St. Francis Health Services, the Colorado Springs Business Journal reports. The site lies southeast of Interquest Parkway and Interstate 25.
  2. El Paso County Administrator Henry Yankowski says he'll retire later this year after about four years on the job. He previously was the Pikes Peak Regional Building official.
  3. Daniel Cole was named head of the Colorado Senate Majority Fund on Feb. 15, and has resigned as communications director of the state GOP.
  4. Blue Star Recyclers announced plans to expand to Chicago and the Western Slope, the Gazette reports.
  5. NASA has awarded a $10,900 grant to Colorado College grad and physics assistant professor Natalie Gosnell for her two-year project, "Clusters with K2: Systematics from Membership and Binarity."
