22nd Annual Bluegrass on the River Festival

When: June 3-5 2011

If you want to start your Sunday morning in the Church of the Outdoors, head to the third day of Pueblo’s Bluegrass on the River at the Nature & Raptor Center (5200 Nature Center Road, Pueblo, natureandraptor.org). After a 9 a.m. gospel set, you can fill your day with a host of bluegrass favorites such as the Lonesome Traveler Band, Acme Bluegrass and the Haunted Windchimes, as well as an arts and crafts fair, nature activities and storytellers. Of course, you could just spend your entire weekend down there: The fest starts Friday with Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand headlining, and camping fees cost just $35 more than the regular admission fees ($35 for a weekend pass; $8 to $20 per day). — Kirsten Akens

Price: $6-$35
