The Knobhill Urban Arts District Planning Committee unveiled its mural of the late local civil rights legend Fannie Mae Duncan on July 5, which would have been her 101st birthday. The mural is located at 2438 E. Platte Ave.Msitu, a 10-year-old reticulated giraffe, gave birth to a healthy female calf at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on July 6. The baby, which will be named after 30 days, is the 16th giraffe in the zoo’s herd.
The Denver Post reports that Sen.
