Symphonic work that evoke love-struck puppets (Stravinsky’s “Petrushka”) and inescapable mortality (Mahler’s “Song of the Earth”) will be among the Colorado Springs Philharmonic’s newly announced 2018-19 offerings

Other season highlights will include Masterworks Series performances of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, Rachmaninoff’s Third Symphony, Tchaikovsky Swan Lake and Ravel’s Bolero, while the Philharmonic Pops repertoire ranges from “Star Spangled Pops” to “The Wonderful Music of Oz.”

You can learn more about the new season in next week’s Reverb column and find the full schedule at csphilharmonic.org.
