Singer-songwriter supergroup boygenius top new show announcements

The best supergroups are often the least known, and boygenius definitely fit that bill — at least for the moment. The new singer-songwriterly collective brings together acclaimed indie artists Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus, who will kick off their first national tour at Nashville’s storied Ryman Auditorium. The itinerary will also include a date at Denver’s Ogden Theatre on November 19, which happens to be the week after the release of their self-titled debut on Matador Records.

This week’s other calendar-worthy show announcements include some considerably more familiar acts, including Echo & The Bunnymen, The Verve Pipe, Soul Asylum, and Joan Baez. Here’s the full rundown:
