For Colorado Springs’ Oi! community, 99 Bottles’ March 31 show at the Triple Nickel will be a bittersweet occasion, even if most don't remember any of it the next morning.
The group, who were the subject an Indy cover story
prior to their participation in a 2016 anti-Klan benefit, will be simultaneously celebrating both their 10th anniversary and their final show with founding frontman Mario Dalla Betta, who will soon be packing his Vespa and heading out of town.
In addition to the local headliners’ classic anthems like “Working Drunk” and “Skinhead Violence,” the all-ages show will also feature tinnitus-inducing sets from Night of the Living Shred, The Stickups, and Out for Blood. As the show poster puts it: “Come for the bands! Stay for the booze! Leave with a headache!”
