After a week of little sleep, DNC delegate Mike Maday finds himself surrounded by celebrities.
Wow. I gotta say being part of history in Philadelphia Thursday night was pretty cool. The Democratic party broke another barrier when Hillary Clinton
accepted our nomination to be to be the first woman president.
I wish Bernie Sanders
would have been speaking, but I was happy to hear Hillary commit to our platform, which is the most progressive platform in a generation. Putting together a convention that was united for the most part was quite an achievement.
Everybody is dragging themselves home Friday, and I have to say, averaging three hours sleep for four nights is a bit rough. Last night we had dinner at the Hillary hotel and Katy Perry
showed up a couple tables down about 2:30 a.m., which turned into a party that seemed to just be just taking off when I went crawled off to bed. About 3:30.
I’d love to catch Trump in Colorado Springs today but I’ll be on a plane. I hope everyone gives him a warm welcome, but be careful, he provokes easily.
Evidently he needs to spend some time with the Republican base, which means, at this point, he’s behind where he should be in his crazy campaign.
