This Thursday offers two worthwhile food-and-drink experiences from which to choose:

• At Brother Luck Street Eats, chef Mark Henry is offering a free butcher demonstration at 5 p.m., utilizing a whole hog from Torpedo Farms. Special cuts will be auctioned off afterward as part of a "bacon night" celebration, featuring a new cocktail menu.
