Soon, in Side Dish, we'll be reporting on more brewery openings to come.

But for now, we have news from two local outfits with active event calendars.

First up, Great Storm Brewing will take a page out of Splash's book, with a Paint with a Pint night at 7 on Saturday, Nov. 7. For $25, you'll get instruction, a canvas and paints — but beers are additional (minimum purchase 1). Reserve a seat with jaecie@paintinguncorkd.com

Also, GSB will host its first beer dinner at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22 for $43 plus tax/tip. (Reserve directly with the brewery.) The showcase is four barrel-aged brews; here's a look at the menu:

Next up, the latest brewery to open, Triple S, has launched both walking and driving brewery tours that include samples, history, meet-the-brewer moments and education.

The next one up is a Halloween driving tour from noon to 4 — to be clear, they drive you — for $45, featuring Triple S, Smiling Toad, Bristol and Gold Camp breweries.
