Balloons are coming, volunteers needed

The Colorado Springs Sports Corp. is helping with the balloon lift off over Labor Day weekend and has put out a plea for volunteers.
We are pleased to announce that the annual tradition of a Hot Air Balloon Event on Labor Day weekend in Colorado Springs will continue September 5-7 at Memorial Park.

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off will be produced by Hot Apple Productions, LLC. in affiliation with Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Company, Inc. and the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks including: crew, concessions, hospitality, entertainment, parking, etc. 

The event will include a spectacular array of 67 hot air balloons that will converge in Memorial Park and participate in competitions and balloon glows, drawing spectators from Colorado and beyond.

This balloon festival will feature a beer garden and VIP tent, live entertainment, and concerts on the big stage, food trucks, and a weekend full of lake activities including wakeboarding exhibitions, stand up paddle boarding and other activities at Prospect Lake.

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is one of the largest hot air ballooning events in the nation and the largest in Colorado. Enjoy free admission and activities for the entire family!
