In the wake of a Jan. 6 bombing of the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the organization's national president is coming to town.

The bombing caused minimal damage (the device did not fully detonate), but left the organization rattled. The FBI is still looking for a person of interest in the case.

President and CEO Cornell William Brooks, who is also an attorney, will be in Colorado Springs from Jan. 23 through 25. Several events are planned.
