of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
, the organization's national president is coming to town.
The bombing caused minimal damage (the device did not fully detonate), but left the organization rattled
. The FBI is still looking for a person of interest
in the case.

NAACP National President To Visit Colorado Springs
In response to the explosion January 6 at the building housing the Colorado Springs Branch NAACP, Attorney Cornell William Brooks, President & Chief Executive Officer of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and other members of the NAACP National Office staff, will travel to the city for three days of gatherings, meetings, and actions.
