will be the beneficiary of An Evening In Good Taste
gourmet tasting and silent auction on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Warehouse Restaurant and Gallery
Samplings will come from the likes of Pikes Peak Brewing Co., Switchback Coffee Roasters, The Wild Goose Meeting House, The Principal's Office and Seeds Community Cafe. Entry costs $40, with an option to donate more and win prizes.
The mission: "to alleviate extreme poverty and prevent slavery through sustainable business."
Yobel International's exposure trips help directly in impoverished communities, via business development classes and building relationships with trade partners.
• The Broadmoor's Ristorante Del Lago
will present "Ettore Germano and the Wines of Piemonte
," featuring guest Sergio Germano, on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. Seats for the seven-course feast are $125 plus tax/tip. Here's the menu:
