Wobbly Olive debuts new fall menu

A couple of months ago, I framed the significance of the Wobbly Olive on Powers Boulevard as emblematic of the great Colorado Springs east/west divide: a necessary, gourmet independent outfit amidst the sea of chains.

Plates I sampled were vibrant and beautifully presented, and I commended chef David Cook for a number of interesting menu touches.

Recently, Cook invited me out for a tiny staff sampling from his new fall menu, which was just released last week.

You can view that full menu here (disclaimer: a few tweaks remain underway, for example the cheesecake is no longer gluten-free):  See related PDF Fall_Menu_Final.pdf

Otherwise, here's a teaser look at some items, including new cocktails, which prove equally colorful and compelling and overall delicious.
