This week, the Boettcher Foundation
announced it has awarded 20 Colorado nonprofits $815,000 in grants toward capital projects.
The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum
got $25,000 for building restoration (an ongoing issue
), while the Colorado Springs Conservatory
got $40,000 to go toward the purchase and renovation of a facility to be used for programming and performances. The Conservatory will announce information related to that closer to January.
The span of projects is impressive. Other grantees include $20,000 for the expansion of the Gunnison Community and Aquatics Center
for space for senior programming and $35,000 for Denver's Cleo Parker Robinson Dance
to renovate performance space and dance studios. The Colorado FFA Foundation
at Colorado State University pulled $50,000 for a new statewide Future Farmers of America training facility. Find a list of all 20 nonprofits in the PDF below.
