My Christmas tree
is 2 feet tall, fake, and oddly bush-like — the sort of thing even Charlie Brown
would snub. On the bright side, when the season is over, I simply put it in a cardboard box and shove it in the shed until next year.
Clean-up isn't so simple if you buy a real tree. Those green needles start to brown, and pretty soon you have a large, shedding fire hazard in your living room. But don't worry. The city has a solution for you: tree mulching.
Simply deliver your tree and a $5 donation to one of seven donation sites, and wham! You will be rid of your tree, have the opportunity to score some mulch for your garden, and be helping youth athletes.
