On Tuesday, Jan. 29, Westside Community Center will receive the 2012 Civic Innovator of the Year award. This annual award from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs' Center for Study of Government and the Individual will be given to Westside at a luncheon at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, 3225 Broadmoor Valley Road. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and will run until 1:30 p.m.
