Hickenlooper will support School Choice Week

Gov. John Hickenlooper has signed onto support for School Choice Week, says a press statement from the event's organizers.

From Jan. 22-28, the as-of-now 259 participants will "provide a concentrated focus for our mission - effective education options for every child - a time for the media and the public to hear our resounding message and a time to bring new voices to the chorus."

Even Bill Cosby supports the event, stating: "We have a moral and societal obligation to give our children the opportunity to succeed in school, at work, and in life. We cannot meet that obligation unless parents are empowered to select the best schools of their children. I encourage everyone who wants to see a transformation of American education to get involved in National School Choice Week."
