Music Monday: Lepers, mofos and bullies, oh my

Mondays aren't known as banner days for live music here in Colorado Springs, but this one's actually looking pretty good.

You can start the evening early with a 5 o'clock in-store by the Cute Lepers at the downtown Independent Records. The Seattle power-pop pariahs, who record for Joan Jett's Blackheart label, will then make their way to the Triple Nickel for a show with tourmates Something Fierce and locals Dave Mansfield & the L.A.M.F's (an appropriate match-up, given the L.A.M.F.'s recently released debut single, "Joan Your Jett").

For studying purposes, you can read our Indy interviews with the Cute Lepers here and with Dave Mansfield here.

Also this evening, for those who prefer something a bit, well, different, there's the 2011 No Bully Tour, which will make its way to Sunshine Studios. Allegedly sponsored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (honest), it will feature Christian teen pop idol-in-waiting Adam Whittington. In fact, here's a twitter message Adam dedicated to a special Coloradan just last night:

To whoever was just screaming my name on the I-70 in Colorado; yes, it was me and hi :)

Also on the No Bully bill: Noize from the Basement, Brooke Rose and Brooklyn Haley.
