As a companion to today's travel story about zip-lining in Cañon City, here's a video of me "cannonballing" down the line. (Which means my legs are tucked up against my body to make me go faster.) Note the ending, where I don't quite hit the brake line fast enough, so I have to "park" — hold a hand on each side of the trolley to keep it from moving — and then climb up backward, hand over hand.
While you're going faster than it looks, there are still plenty of chances to look around. Also, at the beginning, you can hear our first guide, Brian McLean, saying "All right, you're good to go"; the strapping gentleman at the end is second guide, Fraser Fras.
