Paella, pork and ... Coors?

Pizzeria Rustica TAPAteria is offering a "Paella on the Patio" event from 5 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, featuring neighboring chef Telly Topakas from Jake & Telly's Greek Taverna (and his four-foot paella pan, apparently). For $29 plus tax/tip, guests will receive an appetizer tapa and glass of wine or sangria with the paella.

• The Garden of the Gods Trading Post is now offering a summertime BBQ on the Patio special, nightly from 5 to 7, featuring a beef barbecue sandwich, cole slaw, baked beans and a small drink for $7.50.

• For foodies with big-ass belt buckles: Catch the chuckwagon cook-off portion of the Ride for the Brand Championship Ranch Rodeo beginning at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, July 2, at the Norris-Penrose Event Center.

• Lastly, the Melting Pot will get its blue-collar groove on at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, with a four-course Coors Beer Dinner. Sample Coors-distributed beers like Blue Moon (White, Blond and Honey Wheat flavors); Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy; and Pilsner Urquell and Colorado Native, plus eat fondue made with beers like Coors Banquet and George Killian's Irish Red. Seats are $42 per person plus tax/tip.
