Burgers and Bowls finally opened its doors yesterday. A friend of mine dropped by and said he was pleased by a teriyaki chicken noodle bowl. He also said the prices are super cheap for large portions, so the outfit should appeal to its target demographic: nearby students.

Actually ... not so fast on the opening, says John Ra.
It could be more like March 29 or even the following week until Burgers and Bowls gets its doors open.
Everything in the space is virtually ready to go, but Ra ran into an unrelated staffing issue at Tomo Sushi that demanded his attention, keeping his focus on his flagship eatery rather than the new outfit.
He's promised to let us know when he actually gets the doors open downtown, and apologizes for the delay.

Originally slated to open in mid-January, the eatery was delayed by out-of-date plumbing that needed to be brought up to code, says Ra.
In case the logo doesn't say enough, the new restaurant's concept is built around hamburger varieties and noodle bowls such as teriyaki chicken.
