Tom Mowle has been reappointed by Gov. John Hickenlooper to serve as El Paso County Trustee, according to a press release. Mowle is retired from the Air Force and was first appointed by Gov. Bill Ritter.
From the county website:
I was appointed El Paso County Public Trustee on February 1, 2008, the day after I retired from a 20-year career in the United States Air Force that included service in Baghdad during the Iraq War. I strive to ensure that the Public Trustee’s Office exemplifies the same values instilled by the Air Force: Integrity, Service, and Excellence. If you have any concerns about how this office conducts its business, please let me know at email@example.com.
Mowle, a Democrat, ran against Republican County Commissioner Wayne Williams for clerk and recorder last fall.
