For today's photo and audio samplings, I'm focusing on costumes, one of the most important visual components to a Cirque performance.
Here's my raw, roughly five-minute interview with wardrobe assistant for Alegría, Amy Brown (again, please forgive the background noise and casual interview format). As you'll hear, Brown is part of a permanent crew of four in the costume department, who with the help of two local hires in each tour stop, oversees roughly 600 items.
