Does it seem strange to you that in a year when nearly everything "establishment" is getting crushed ... the El Paso County commissioners got more than 60 percent of voters to agree on extending a bunch of term limits?
Check it out — with more than 130,000 votes counted, county questions 1B, 1C and 1D are coming up roses.
Sorry, but you're going to have a hard time convincing some of us that the easy victories aren't almost solely due to the clever/conniving wording of those ballot measures. If you thought that by voting "Yes" you were voting for stricter limits for commissioners, the DA and other officials ... well, read this.
At the very least, expect commissioners to get an earful about this in weeks to come. At most ... maybe a lawsuit?
