City Councilor says DA has acted dishonestly

While writing a statement criticizing Colorado Springs District Attorney Dan May for participating in an investigation based around a state law that says campaign falsehoods are illegal, City Councilor Sean Paige says that May is "frequently guilty of the same sort of dishonest 'spin' that he's being asked to police in the campaigns of others."

I've debated May once on medical marijuana, and I've seen him perform numerous times before City Council and in other venues, and I've concluded that if anyone needs an independent fact-checker, or a visit from the Truth Police, it's Mr. May. His passionate personal crusade against medical marijuana patients and providers frequently has him using propaganda techniques one typically finds in political campaigns, except May is running this campaign in his official capacity as DA, using his office as a soap box.
