No bus on Labor Day

Sorry, bus riders, but I have more bad news for you.

As if the elimination of weekend and evening service, and the cutting of several routes this year hasn't made your lives hard enough, the city also shuts down bus service for some holidays.

Like Labor Day.

So, if you need to make it to work this Monday and you normally use the Mountain Metro fixed-route bus service, Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service, the FrontRange Express (FREX) or the Ute Pass Express, you'll need to make other plans.

Looking ahead: Buses won't be running on Thanksgiving (Nov. 25), either, though they will be running on Columbus Day and Veterans Day.
