Some may remember how, after Michael Jackson died, CNN ran footage in which the King of Pop’s ghost showing up in the background of a Neverland shoot. Unfortunately, the shadowy figure turned out to be Gary the CNN Lighting Guy.
But that’s nothing compared to the strange vision that appeared at last Thursday's Gazette Best Of Celebration. Unnoticed at the time, the ghost of Michael Bolton was captured lurking in the background of a photo from the event:
Miraculously, an exhumed Bolton — whose cover of Otis Redding’s "Dock of the Bay" remains one of the more unfortunate moments in pop music history — will be performing at the very same venue on October 10. (Unlike the Gazetteers, Bolton will actually be appearing INSIDE the Pikes Peak Center, instead of out in the hallway.)
