Maggie Divelbiss, longtime executive director for the Sangre de Cristo Art Center in Pueblo, will retire at the end of the year.

In the meantime, the institution has created a "search and transition committee," which will seek a new executive director. They expect to make a formal selection in August.

Divelbiss, according to the press release, was involved with the Sangre's beginnings 38 years ago and has served as executive director for 21 years.
