Wescott grabs gold in snowboard cross, again



U.S. Olympian Seth Wescott, a 33-year-old who won the first snowboard cross Olympic gold medal in 2006, made it two in a row this afternoon, edging Mike Robertson of Canada with Tony Ramoin of France taking the bronze in a dramatic final race at Cypress Mountain.

The other finalist, five-time X Games champion Nate Holland of the United States, fell halfway down the course and wound up fourth.

It's the second gold medal of these Winter Games for the United States, and the eighth medal overall.
