Warehouse chef wins ACF award



Congrats to chef Lawrence "Chip" Johnson from the Warehouse Restaurant and Gallery, for receiving the 2009 Outstanding Leadership in Promoting Culinary Excellence award from the American Culinary Federation.

Johnson was presented the award this past Monday at the governor's residence in Denver, largely for his continued dedication to serving and promoting Colorado products on his menus.

His current menu features items like grass-fed Colorado maple bison au poivre, Colorado lamb shank braised in a molé barbecue sauce, and Rocky Mountain red trout fillets stuffed with crab and bacon.
