Ray Ring of High Country News has written a piece that may give hope to people who feel that karma must catch up with right-wing media "revolutionaries" at some point.
"'The West's Biggest Bully' gets his" covers the downfall of John Stokes, apparently a fairly horrifying AM radio personality in Montana, a guy who called environmentalists "green Nazis" and daydreamed about frustrated people perhaps deciding to "blow up" the West. Turns out that after nine years on the air, a $3.8 million defamation judgment against Stokes did him in. Mountain debt and his admission that he hadn't paid tax returns for a decade didn't help him, either.
